She continued a successful career with “Salt and Saffron” (2000), “Kartography” (2002), “Broken Verses” (2005) and “Burnt Shadows” (2009). Kamila Shamsie also writes columns for Guardian. Granta Magazine included her in the 2013 list with the 20 best young British novelists.
